WHAT COMES NEXT?
7 YEAR TRIBULATION, 1,000 YEAR REIGN, NEW HEAVENS & NEW EARTH
STATEMENT OF BELIEFS
Jesus Christ will physically return to earth one day and set up His kingdom for 1,000 years. The Bible says there is a Seven Year period when the earth, the cosmos and humanity will begin to deteriorate at a rapid pace into evil, war, disease, death and environmental and cosmic catastrophe simultaneously on a worldwide scale. God will let this happen both as a result of man’s freewill choice to sin, and as judgment, so that people will see what sin leads to, in hope than man will wake up before it is too late.
At the end of the Seven Years, Jesus Christ will physically return to earth at His Second Coming, and He will defeat an evil world ruler, (often called the Antichrist), and His followers in the battle of Armageddon in Israel. Then He will clean up the world, and will rule over it in love and justice for 1,000 years. After the 1,000 years, Satan will be released and will lead some people to war against King Jesus. But Jesus will defeat him and will throw him in the Lake of Fire. After this time, Jesus will create a New Heavens and New Earth that will continue in peace and love forever.
